The first 2017 edition of Active Trans' Stories on the Move, our storytelling series hosted by our Membership Associates, is at the Hideout on February 3rd! Join us after work for TRUE TALES from your fellow residents all around the theme of our work: biking, walking and transit! Doors open around 5:30 PM and we get started right at 6.

Our lineup will include a story from:

• Active Trans' Deputy director Melody Geraci!
• Former YPT President Charlie Monte Verde
• Freelance art director and Ride for Aids hero Jess Hanesbury
• Educator and cyclist Abi Wilberding
• ...and others TBA!

We've heard from folks all across our communities, and gone from taking the Blue Line to O'Hare to biking across Asia.

We'll get in touch with you for this event or our next one--we'll also have our open mic (as always) where you can throw your name in to tell a 5 to 8 minute long story (aka 2-3 typed pages, double spaced). This event is a fundraiser for the Active Transportation Alliance and we're asking $8 donation at the door for members and $10 for non-members. No one will be turned away for lack of funds. Membership Associates are the Active Transportation Alliance associate board involved in outreach, generating exciting events, and building our community, especially amongst the under-40 crowd.
