Description

Ride down to Bachelor's Grove Cemetery - This will be a long ride! Bachelor's Grove is located at 143rd and Ridgeland Ave in Alsip. We have planned a place to buy some lunch called Hog Wild and then after that there will be a place to purchase so beer or liquid to go with lunch. This ride will leave at 11 am sharp!

We are meeting outside for the start of this ride at the north west corner at 29th and Halsted. There are also no stops along the way we will be riding straight from the start to Hog Wild - we will then order food togo - then stop by a liquor store for a purchase of a beverage - and then to the forest preserve and have lunch out side - we will then proceed to the Cemetery - and then return home

That was incredible! I'll email you the photos I took when I get back home on Monday night. Thanks Lisa and Pete!

Ha! Lesson learned.
When I got home last night I seriously could not eat enough: 2 ham sandwiches with cheese, chips and salsa, a leftover piece of pepperoni pizza, part of a half-pint of Ben and Jerry's... I must have burned 25 million calories yesterday.

Joel, you'd probably have to factor in slightly under-inflated knobby tires too! But it was a great ride, no bike issues and no injuries.

What a great ride, thanks for putting this together. Is there a multiplier for calories burned while riding 25 miles against the north wind?

I think I burned off that pork chop and oven browns. Will have to go back for more.

I checked the label on the bag of cookies I ate. 13 servings X 120 calories = 1560 calories. Mwwwahahahaha!

I had a great time. Thanks for organizing.
