Our 2nd Annual Solar Schools Ride is on May 15th!
We invite environmental advocates of all ages to register for a 4, 10, 20, or 62 mile bike ride as we raise funds to install solar systems on the roofs of Chicago Public Schools. Participating schools become advocates and partners in increasing environmental education for Chicago youth.
The 4, 10, and 20 mile routes start and end at DuSable Harbor, on the north end of Grant Park in Chicago.
The 62 mile Dunes to Downtown Metric Century starts early in the morning in the Indiana Dunes State Park and takes a beautiful route through marsh, meadow, and forest, meeting the rest of the Solar Schools riders at an afternoon festival at DuSable Harbor in Chicago.
