Description

Hey Guys,

I wanted to share this very special event 10 years in the making. When I was 20 years old I skateboarded and biked from Chicago to NYC with my 3 friends. We filmed the trip and came back with about 90 hrs of footage. Because we had never done a trip like this before we basically messed up the entire way, got into a lot of trouble and learned a lot about what it takes to do a trip like this with barely any planning.

At the time this was a big deal in Chicago, we got a lot of local and national press because no one was really skateboarding across the country. The media LOVED the story and we were sensations hopping on Oprah Radio and Good Morning America in NYC and being in the NYPost, Tribune, Fox etc.

We didn't know what to do with the footage until about 5 years ago and it's been a journey ever since. I thought You all on the forum might be interested in attending the event. The tickets are priced to sell out at $10 and proceeds go to finalizing the film for Amazon and iTunes.

If you want to know more about the trip feel free to message me or comment.

There will be a booze served at the bar. We are about to have a Chicago Reader and Herald article coming out this month so it might be a good idea to get tickets beforehand, but at the door should be fine as well.

I hope to see you guys out there!
