Shortest Day Ride on the DPR

Sunday, December 21^ST is the Winter Solstice & the Shortest Day of the Year

• We will Ride at 9:30 am sharp for about 10 miles on the DesPlaines River Trail.
• Pace depends on the group. Not a training ride.
• The route can vary depending on the weather in the days preceding the ride
• Helmets must be worn
• Cyclocross, hybrid, or mountain bikes in good working condition recommended
• Meet your George Garner staff, as we will have trained mechanics riding along
• We will meet back at George Garner Cyclery Libertyville for coffee provided by Hansa Coffee Roasters, and Donuts from Lee’s Donuts.
• Please RSVP to Libertyville@GeorgeGarnerCyclery.com by Thursday Dec 18^th so we don’t run out of donuts!
• Ride is weather-permitting. We will post updates or cancellation on the George Garner Cyclery Facebook page
• Mention “Shortest Day” when shopping before the ride
