No, this isn't about coming to believe that a Power greater than ourselves could restore us to sanity.
It's about trying to ride to Three Floyds every month this year.
New beers since last time: In The Name Of Suffering, Lord Rear Admiral, and Supa Rice Ronin of Death.
I'll be returning on the Metra, but you're free to ride back if you want.

Madness.
I wish I could go, but I have to work a bit in the AM. I live right by Revolution Brewpub. I have no problem meeting folks up there at some point :)
I did not see that, but note that Three Floyds was recognized for "Outstanding Wine, Spirits or Beer Professional." Conspicuously (and fittingly) absent from the "Outstanding Service" category.
we could make it 3f and/or revolution, but we'd split up right away. did you see 3f in the 2013 james beard foundation restaurant and chef semifinalists list?
And here's what they have at the Revolution Brewing Tap Room:
Our interpretation of a classic, French-style ale with a more citrus hop character and earthy, spice aroma
This traditional German-style lager emits a beautiful auburn hue with deep, rich layers of caramel and toasted flavor notes.
An English luncheon beer with toffee and caramel notes. Low in alcohol, high in flavor.
Crisp golden ale with a delicate hop finish.
Belgian-style wheat beer spiced with coriander and orange peel
Commanding, dry-hopped pale ale with Centennial, Cascade, Chinook and Amarillo hop varieties.
An American hop assault
Pilsner malts and a tri-hop blend of magnum, cascade and citra drives home the aromas of fresh citrus rind to make this a very drinkable and extremely aromatic brew.
Strong pale ale packs a punch with massive hop flavor
A hearty wheat barley wine aged for 4 months in Appleton run casks; exudes layers of molasses, caramel, toasted malt, oak, and warmth.
A smooth & roasty, easy-drinking stout
A striking, robust porter full of warmth and chocolate malt
Imperial Wit
This Imperial Brown Ale is a more ‘full-bodied’ version of the Working Woman.
