Put you and your bike on the Metra to Bartlett to arrive 9:29am on Sunday July 25. Sign in at Spin Doctor Cyclewerks, one block north of the Bartlett Historic Depot, from 9:30-10am. (plenty of car parking too) The SDC Bike the Rails is a self supported buddy ride through the Best of the West. This 56 mile ride tours 6 forest preserves, a state park, 3 counties, and 5 regional trails. You will find a summer's worth of new places to ride. Enjoy Bartlett's fine dining on your return. Wear your helmut to participating restaurants and receive $5 off the second meal in your group. Comment by Terry Witt on July 24, 2010 at 2:51am: Sunday's Bike the Rails is ON. Forecast is beautiful and we have road alternatives to the trails if the trails are too wet. Check in at Spin Doctor Cyclewerks 9:30am for a cup of coffee, Tour action, meet new riders, and Ride at 10am.
