Vince - although I could name an intersection (26th & Kostner) we'll be passing through, I couldn't possibly predict a time.  We are using the LIB cue sheets, but they are not on the LIB website any more.  I'm sure it will be much later than 9:30 because we're starting 5 miles away from Buckingham Fountain and because I doubt we'll start exactly at 8:30.  Send your phone number to kangarookathy@yahoo.com and perhaps we can call you when we know we're on the way.

What route will you be taking? Er, I mean what street/road will you be on as you leave Chicago? The "real" Route 66 is Ogden Avenue as it passes through Cicero, Berwyn, Lyons, etc. but I've seen that the Rte. 66 bike route actually uses 26th street.
I'm guessing you'll be passing through Cicero/Berwyn around 9:30 and I may join you for a bit.

You can meet Ron the Australian who is here to ride Route 66 at my Earth Hour Party on Saturday night, March 31.  Earth hour is celebrated all over the world from 8:30 PM until 9:30PM by turning off all the lights.  You can celebrate with us whether you want to ride on Sunday morning or not.  RSVP to kangarookathy@yahoo.com
