Description

This is the hardest class to become proficient at and one of the most rewarding classes to take. The chemistry of pad materials has greatly changed over the years. Most people know the angle of the pad is critical as it touches the rim, The angle of the cable is even more important in some braking systems. We will cover simple tools to make the job easier, cleaning all friction materials, aligning braking surfaces and pads, cable and housing qualities to look for and avoid, disk alignment, caliper alignment, strategies for wear patterns, and much more.
