Ride of Silence is hosting an event next Thursday, May 9, from 6-9pm at Heritage Bicycles. Spiteful Brewing will be donating their Ghost Bike Pale Ale for the night. We're out to raise awareness about the Ride of Silence -- happening Wednesday, May 15 @ 7pm.

(as of yet this event is not listed on the calendar.... but it will be as soon as we figure out what to call it)

Yes, Ride will depart from Daley Plaza no later than 7pm. Please plan to arrive by 6:30pm.

One of the ride organizers just emailed me back about a question I had regarding the ride's meet-up time and expected launch time.  She said the ride's meet-up time was 6-6:30, and that the ride would definitely launch no later than 7 Pm.

Perhaps this event's time needs to be updated?

What time will the ride likely launch from the Flame?  6 Pm?

A friend of mine wishes to attend with me, but she is working and may not be able to arrive until 6 Pm or a little after.  Is the route published or known?  If so, I could share this with her so she could catch-up to the ride.

I will be attending but will not get a chance to ride from the Daley Plaza even though I work across the street. I will be leading the ROS-Evanston. We will leave from the Chandler Center near the Central Street L stop. See www.evanstonbikeclub.org  The past year has been a difficult one for injuries and worse on the road. Please ride in one of the local ROS events to remember and honor injured and fallen cyclists. www.rideofsilence.org
