RIDE FOR 9-11 Arrives in Chicago August 25th

This summer, a group of Southern California firefighters will be cycling across the United States to honor those whose lives were lost 10 years ago on September 11 and those who continue to fight for our freedom and safety. The Ride for 9-11 will commence July 24, 2011 in Hollywood, California and end in New York City, New York at the FDNY Firefighters Memorial on September 9, 2011. The Ride for 9-11 will be raising money for two very special charities: The Leary Firefighters Foundation and the Wounded Warrior Project. 

The Ride For 9-11 arrives in Chicago on August 25th at 2 pm. We welcome any riders who’d like to ride into the City with us or ride out of the City on August 28th. Two fundraisers are also planned: August 25th at Emmit’s from 7-11 and August 26th at Nacional 27 from 5-9. All donations benefit the Wounded Warrior Project and Leary Firefighter Foundation.
