Description

The 7th Annual Ride and Stride for Wishes offers three different routes: a 10-mile bicycle ride, a Children’s Parade, and a 5k Fun Run/Walk.

We welcome all children to join us in decorating their big wheels, tricycles, bicycles and wheelchairs for a special mini-parade through the historic Soldier Field Columnades

The 10-mile bicycle route will leave Soldier Field from the Great Lawn and head east to the lake path. Once on the lake path, the ride will head south 5 miles to Promontory Point and then circle back to the Soldier Field. One fully staffed rest stop along the bicycle route will provide snacks, drinks and bike assistance for all riders.

The 5k Fun Run/Walk will leave Soldier Field from the Great Lawn and head east to the lake path and then turn north returning halfway back to Soldier Field. The 1-mile ride loop will safely allow cyclists of all ages and fitness levels to participate while helping a great cause. And, Participants, their families and supporters, as well as event volunteers will join together after the ride to celebrate their success. Sponsor booths and prizes/giveaways will be provided, all thanks to our generous donors. Funds raised by event participants and sponsors directly benefit the Make-A-Wish Foundation of Illinois.

All routes start and finish at Soldier Field. Registration and post-event entertainment will be located on the Great Lawn.

$40/adult, $10/child under ten. Register online at www.rideandstrideforwishes.org.
