Description

Come join us for an evening with Dawn Piech, an American Midwest female cyclist who specializes in ultra-cycling and randonneuring, as well as a recipient of the 2018 World Ultra Cycling Association McMillion Scholarship. In 2015, she completed Paris-Brest-Paris (PBP) 1,200k in 88:46 hours and became an Ancienne in the “Great Book” in Paris, France. The 1200-kilometer Paris-Brest-Paris is a grueling test of human endurance and cycling ability. Organized every four years by the host Audax Club Parisien, it is the oldest bicycling event still run on a regular basis on the open road.

Dawn's presentation will cover the different types of randonneuring events, how to prepare to be successful, and proper nutrition to stay strong on these long, grueling rides. She will also debunk the 5 Myths about randonneuring.

Since you can’t participate in randonneuring without the right equipment. KC will discuss the features of both the Trek Checkpoint and several OPEN models that meet the demand of ultra cycling.

Sign up today to secure your spot for this exciting presentation.
