Race Across the Sky 2010 plus CONTEST

On November 4th with an encore showing on November 9th at your local movie theater, experience Race Across the Sky 2010, on the big-screen, exclusively showcasing this year’s race. NCM Fathom, Life Time Fitness and Citizen Pictures delves into the resulting race entry boom, including record numbers of citizen riders, along with those aspiring Leadmen and Leadwomen who go beyond this one-day cycling event to conquer merciless running races during their ambitious five- race endeavor. Each entrant brings their own personal reasons for challenging themselves to this epic test of will, strength and endurance. Joined by the toughest elite field this high-altitude century mountain bike race has ever seen, these riders are tested by one of the most brutal courses known to the sport.

Complementing the documentary is a LIVE panel discussion with key Leadville Trail 100 athletes including Levi Leipheimer, Rebecca Rush, Erik Weihenmayer, the first blind climber to summit Everest, and more. Their stories of teetering atop a 12,570-foot peak—all the while battling weather contrasts from sun to snow—are sure to motivate your own endurance expeditions.
