Description

Come show support for the proposed bike lane! It is important for bicyclists' voices to be heard at these meetings, for a visible display of community support and to educate those who may not understand how bike lanes benefit people.

The conversation at these meetings can often be dominated by people with a car-only perspective. Please show up with me and help change that!

"EDGEWATER — Cyclists who ride through the Far North side may soon have reason to rejoice.

Ald. Harry Osterman (48th) announced his office has been working with the Chicago Department of Transportation to install a bike lane along Glenwood Avenue between Ridge and Foster avenues, Osterman said in a newsletter to residents sent last week."

Community meeting Wednesday, June 10th at 6:30 p.m. in the Edgewater Baptist Church, 1402 W. Hollywood Ave.
