Riding Daily is a bicycle touring group, leading tours around the United States of varying distances. Focusing on bicycle touring, we plan weekend, overnight, and hourly tours.
This summer Riding Daily presents Public Art Tours around the city of Chicago via bicycle of course! Each tour has a theme, takes about 1-4 hours, and visits at least 5 pieces of public art around the city of Chicago. Public art ranges from murals to mosaics, to contemporary to classical. Our tour leader Jackie will discuss each piece we visit and allow ample time for viewing and discussion. Tours are open to people of all ages, origin and skill level, as we ride at a moderate pace. Helmets are required. Rental bikes and helmets are available but limited.
Tours are FREE! Donations are accepted.
Our first tour is Tuesday, July 29th
We will begin at Oz Park located @ 2021 N. Burling Street. We will meet near the Tin Man at the southwest corner of Webster, Lincoln and Larrabee. Traveling our way southeast, through Lincoln Park, the tour will visit a great historical figure. As we continue south riding into Chicago's beautiful skyline, we will stop at an iconic meeting place, and at the south end of Grant Park, visiting 6 sculptures along the way. This tour is 6 miles and will take about 75 minutes.
I invite everyone on the tour to join me at Millennium Park post tour for a picnic dinner and to view the nightly movie.
If you wish to sign up, have questions, or would like to propose a time and date of a tour, contact Jackie@ridingdaily.com
If you'd like to participate, but cannot attend the 5:30 tour, please contact me and I will do my best to accommodate.
I'd like to make this a weekly activity, so any suggestions or recommendations would be helpful!

Got it.
Guys! I'm a little nervous about the rain!! There's supposed to be thunderstorms scheduled 5:00-7:30....I may go ahead and reschedule the tour! I hope everyone gets this message!! Feel free to call or text if you have any questions: 773.428.0673
I just changed the time of the event to 5:30 to accommodate folks getting out of work at 5! Hopefully that works for everyone!
Great idea! I'm relatively new to the city, and would love to learn more about my new home. Will try to attend. 5pm means I'd have to sneak out of work early. 5:30-5:45 would be better for many folks I think.
