Sadly our beloved Blackhawks will not reclaim their rightful place as Stanley Cup champions this year. Howerver, please join us for a tour of sites in our city where both professional as well as amateur hockey has been played. Included are visits to the United Center, Wrigley Field, the UIC Pavilion and Johnny's Ice House East and West. Also included are the sites of former hockey venues including the old Chicago Stadium, the Chicago Coliseum and the International Ampitheater. Lunch will be at the Palace Grill on Madison, the home of a fabulous collection of Blackhawk artifacts. This is a repeat of the Hockey Nostalgia Ride originally run on May 26. Threatening weather and proximity to Bike the Drive limited the attendance so I am offering another chance for those who missed it to share our city's rich hockey history. Because of other commitments and to have the ride during the visit of my granddaughter and avid hockey fan, this will be a special weekday event. Note start time and location.
