Description

A slow century around the city with lots of stops for site-seeing, snacking and skinnydipping. Meet up at Wicker Park Fountain at 9:30 AM, depart at 10:00 sharp. Bring breakfast to the fountain if you wish, but we will leave promptly at 10.

After the ride I'll be printing up some light red American Apparel ringer T-shirts with the above design. Give me $10 and your size at the ride. I'll announce a happy hour a week or two later where you can pick up your shirt.

Folks,

I will be hanging out in the beer garden of the Handlebar, 2311 W. North,
NEXT Wednesday, September 9, from 7-9 pm with Perimeter Ride t-shirts for
those who have pre-ordered them.

If you've ordered a shirt and can't make it, drop me a line at greenfieldjohn[at]hotmail.com to make other arrangements.

If you want a shirt but didn't order one, you can try your luck and drop by early;
I printed a few extra.

Live on the Edge!

Folks,

We had a fabulous Perimeter Ride last Saturday with about 80 total
participants, some sweet tailwinds and, best of all, no whiners.
My liver is still recovering.

I'm going to print up some t-shirts with this logo by Da Square
Wheelman: http://www.thechainlink.org/events/perimeter-ride

These will be politically correct (unless you're anti-porn)
American Apparel ringer t's in light red with black printing. They're $10,
basically at-cost.

After getting stuck with dozens of extra "Walking is not a crime!" shirts,
I'm only printing up shirts that are pre-ordered and, preferably, pre-paid.
If you want one, e-mail me at greenfieldjohn[at]hotmail.com by Tuesday
with your name and size and I'll provide an address for sending a check.

I'll announce a tavern happy hour in the near future where you can pick
up your shirt.

Live on the edge!

John,

Thanks for a great ride, great route and showing me a lot of Chicago I never knew existed. Fellow Perimeterans - Great to meet (many) of you - what a fantastic and diverse group of cooperative riders! These are my phone pic contributions - I was too busy loving the sights to capture them.

Thank you so much for the ride! I really appreciate being able to pick up the ride mid-route. Can't wait to do it next year!

John:

Thank you for the great ride and experience yesterday; sorry about the 10+ status route updates (hoping you have free nights and weekends on your cell phone): loved the stops and the route.
