Patriot CX Race

Wild Card Cycling will host their second cyclocross race at Heritage Park in Rantoul, Il.  Promoter Karl C and his team have worked hard planning and setting up a course that’s both fun and challenging. They want to make it worth your trip down and have added more distance, extra climbs and a sand pit… the barriers and logs from last year will be there also. They may have a nice size mud puddle too, depending on how much rain there is this week. Wild Card has a lot of great prizes for the race winners and will raffle some after the last race. Yes, there will be a food vender  with burgers, brats, chips, drinks.

Don’t start the Chi Cross Cup cold! Put on your favorite red, white, & blue costume, and roll down I-57 for Rantoul’s second CX race, held on Saturday, September 8th at Heritage Park on former Chanute Air Force Base.

A super fast course features broad turns and all out straight-aways.

Steep descents, run-ups, and off-cambers will get your handling sharp, and test your new brakes and tires.

Heritage Park facilities include a playground and restroom facilities, plus free parking and a concession stand.

Heritage Lake’s islands make for a unique viewing point. Heck, you can carry in a small boat and heckle with nautical themes.

Day of Registration is $35, and closes 20 minutes before each race.

Masters 30+,Masters 40+, are combined - field max is 75

Masters 50+, Masters 60+ Womens 1/2/3, are combined - field max is 75.
Mens 4, 4-40+, SS are combined - field max is 75

        All groups scored and paid separately.

A Mens 4B will be added after 50 riders are preregistered in 4.

Min 10 in category for full cash payout(merchandise will supplement if necessary)
