Passport To Adventure Family Bike Ride

Looking for a great way to get outside as a family this summer? REI and the Active Transportation Alliance will be out at Erickson Woods Forest Preserve to support you for a family bike ride!

Erickson Woods is a great entry point onto the North Branch Bike trail. On the North Branch Bike trail families can enjoy miles of smooth pavement and beautiful scenery. Travel north to ride through the Skokie Lagoons and/or ride into the Chicago Botanic Gardens. Take the trail South and see woodland, prairie and rivers all the way to Devon!

REI will have bike technicians on site in the morning to do free pre-ride bike safety inspections. Families who come out can receive their Passport To Adventure materials while supplies last. Get Outside this summer!

Erickson Woods is located just East of the Edens expressway on Willow Rd.
