Description

There are jillions of festivals in Chicago every summer, but they all lack one thing - people in their pajamas. This injustice is being corrected with the First Annual Pajama Ride, a rip-roaring, rolling festival/parade in the most comfortable style there is. If you are taking part in the L.A.T.E. ride later that night, it is a perfect start. If you are not, then you are all set for bed.

Whatever you wear - t-shirt, underwear, flannels, nightie, footie pajamas, bathrobe or whatever, just bear in mind that we are stopping at public establishments and will be out on the streets. If you snooze au naturel, get creative and wear something suitable for you. Your favorite "loungewear" perhaps. Don't forget your slippers and nightlights!

Stops will be made at:

Hamburger Mary’s
MYSTERY STOP!
Corner Bar
Motel Bar
Bull & Bear
Crimson Lounge
Liquid Lounge

then proceeding to Grant Park for the start of the L.A.T.E. ride.

Meet up at Gannon's any time after 5pm, ETD is 6!

I had a dream the other night (nightmare?) that I believe was inspired by this ride. I was wearing inappropriate pajamas in public. So now I have to go. Hopefully dressed appropriately.

Crap! I was planning a onesie party - can we just merge the two?

Oh sure - ruin my surprise.

We will have a "fallen pajama rider" processional in your honor. Just tell us what you are planning to wear, so we know what to drape over the ghost bike.

John, more than likely I'll be there, but since it's not until July 10, I won't commit until closer to that day. I mean, what if I say I'll be there and then I get run over by a bus?
