Greet 2017 from the saddle of your bicycle!

We'll meet at 9am ot Cosmic Bikes for a 9:30 departure for Northerly Island. This will be a moderate-paced social ride. Bring water, a thermos of something hot to drink and a snack. We'll ride Lawrence to the Lakefront Path, and hopefully find an out-of-the-wind spot to rest and consume our provisions before heading back (we may adjust the route based on day-of-ride trail conditions).

On the ride back, we'll likely stop at a good brunch/lunch spot back on the NW side to replenish all the calories burnt in the cold!!

What to bring: water, hot drink, snack, warm clothing (pack an extra layer), camera.

Bike equipment: This ride is suitable for any hybrid, road or mountain bike with gears. Let us know if you'd like to borrow a bike for the ride. Bring a helmet and lock.
