50 miles, 35 on trails, see 15 forest preserves, 13-14 mph, 3 stops, no drops, helmet required, 2 water bottles, bring your tubes and a buddy, not supported, but friendly help.  Bartlett to Wheaton and back.

Meet at Spin Doctor Cyclewerks, Bartlett, 9:30am to sign in. Coffee, bagels,and 10 things you should know. Leave 10am. West Branch Trail to Buttefield Road in Wheaton. Tour through Blackwell and Herrick Lake Forest Preserves. Break in downtown Wheaton, mile 35, eta 1:15pm. Return Illinois Prairie Path to the State Park back to Bartlett and Tacos. ETA 3:30pm. Convenient Metra in Bartlett and Wheaton.   Metra-MilW- 15 bikes per train, Lv Union 8:30a, arrive Bartlett 9:31am; Lv Bartlett 4:05pm, Union 5:12pm or Union Pacific West- 20 bikes per train Lv Wheaton 2:54pm, Arrive Ogilvie 3:50pm. Tacos at JC's in downtown Bartlett and catch the 6:05pm.

Bring your camera, a few dollars for eats.  Lots of nature to enjoy and learn about other trails on your next visit to DuPage County.
