Track racing - Sprinters Omnium III
This series is perfect for people new to sprinting or experienced sprinters who want practice in a low key environment. Prizes: Bragging rights and experience. This series does count as a race event for riders looking to upgrade from category 5 to category 4.
Entry: $10, on-site registration only. (Payment limited to cash or check made payable to “Northbrook Cycle Committee.”) No credit cards are accepted.
Registration opens at 9AM, racing begins at 10AM. Racing usually runs to about 3 pm, depending on turnout.
Categories: Men cat 1/2/3/4/5, Women cat 1/2/3/4/5
Mass start events will be run with separate fields for M cat 1/2, M cat 3, M cat 4/5 and W cat 1/2/3 and W cat 4/5, but may be further combined at discretion of promoter.

Notes:
• A valid annual USAC license is required
• Fields or events may be combined or split at the discretion of the promoter
• Match sprint groups will be split up based on flying 200 m times, championship sprint tournament format will be used but may be substituted for round robin for some groups; overall the goal is to get equal number of rides for all participants
• In the event of a tie for omnium placing, match sprint results will be the tiebreaker
• Events may canceled or modified in case of rain, there is no rain date planned
