THE monthly (2nd Fridays) north side gathering of cyclists. Winds a dozen miles-ish, ending with food+drink. Well-attended. Bring friends, tunes, bells, costumes, cameras. Meet under Young Lincoln Statue at Ridge and Thorndale. Not just for Northsiders, see it as a second big monthly mass, sometimes topping 100 riders.

For this Friday's northside mass I'd like to honor Harry Osterman for championing Sheridan's safety, an effort which must inevitably include conversion from car to bike traffic.
We could go by his office, then celebrate the future enjoying Sheridan from Ardmore to DePaul and back. Some experienced well-lit riders would be nice.
Then to Greenfield's Songs About the Land of Lincoln at Phyllis' (1800 W Division), stopping at Cortland bridge on the way for Tashlich. I've posted some mappy stuff on http://massup.us (but sadly Dreamhost may be down during ride so catchup *may* be offline)
Gather under Young Lincoln, 5949 N Clark, at Thorndale and Ridge, leaving after 7.
