Description

The Evanston Bicycle Club’s North Shore Century offers incredibly scenic biking on routes of 25, 50, 62, 70 and 100 miles. You'll experience beautiful neighborhoods, view unique architectural treasures, pedal down tranquil tree-lined streets and feel the refreshing breezes of Lake Michigan. There are frequent rest stops stocked with home-baked goodies. Sags and bike mechanics are provided.

Helmets are strongly urged.

Comment by Chitown_Mike on August 22, 2013 at 10:35am: This will be my 2nd century thus far, did it last year and really enjoyed it. Hoping to set some personal best records in time and riding with a group that wants to average 18 mph moving. Look for the guy on the old Schwinn keeping up with the guys on the newer bikes!

If anyone hasn't done this before, it is a great first organized ride and one I will do every year I can.
