Hope to see everyone this Saturday.  Please help promote the event through whatever channels you have.  Some text if you want to copy and paste:

"Tour de Fat is West Town Bikes biggest fundraiser of the year and it's a blast.  The money raised goes directly towards supporting our youth and community programs.

Tour de Fat as described by New Belgium is "A Ballyhoo of Bikes and Beer that connects people with bikes, music, art and community, while having a good ol' time."

It is a free festival held in Palmer Square (2201 N. Kedzie Ave.) that New Belgium puts on to support local non-profit cycling based organizations that are running youth and community development programs.  Los Amigos Invisibles and Mucca Pazza are headlining and there are lots of other bands and performances that all ages will find entertaining.  The festival is great for the whole family."

Tour de Fat is this coming Saturday, 7/12, and New Belgium is still looking for someone to trade their car for a bike! If you're still considering divorcing your car here's a perfect opportunity. 

In every Tour de Fat city, one brave role model will step on stage to trade in his or her car keys and pledge to live car free for one year. The winning applicant will get to build their perfect car replacement bike with the shop of their choosing. New Belgium will award the swapper $2,250 total to spend on a bike and accessories.

Especially the MUCH coveted Shift B from 1:30pm to 5:00pm where you can dispense the even MORE coveted Wristbands (involves checking IDs) and Beer Tokens (involves taking $$$ and basic mathematics).
