Date:  Sat, 9/27/2014

Start Location:  Three Oaks Elementary School, 100 Oak St., Three Oaks, MI, 49128

Start Time:  8:30 am SHARP Central Time.  (Three Oaks, MI is in Eastern Time, so the ride will begin at 9:30 am local time for them.)

Pace:  12-15 mph rolling pace.  Off the bike average speed will be about 13 mph.

Ride Distance:  25-40 miles  (There will be semi-SAG.  A car will be available to take a limited number of people back to the start from the restaurant.)

The cost of meals or personal purchases is up to the participant.  Some vineyards may charge a 5-10 dollar tasting fee. There will be free parking, a minimum of 4 tasting room stops, a vineyard tour with demonstration of the wine making process and semi-SAG support.
 
Your entire ride mileage is roughly 40 miles. The terrain is over 95% flat. You may opt to use the semi-SAG vehicle from the restaurant back to the start point. 
 
The ride will happen rain or shine.  If the weather is too poor to ride bikes we will drive our vehicles and add more tasting rooms (how about that for a fall back plan!!!)

    • Round Barn Winery and Beer (Vodka too!)
    • Tabor Hill Vineyard 
 
We will dine at Tabor Hill Restaurant.  Our reservation is at 5 pm and directly follows the walking guided tour of Tabor Hill Vineyard.  This a very nice restaurant serving seafood, steak, chicken and duck.  No problem hanging out in cycling attire.  Average dining cost per person is around 15-20 bucks.
