Momma Henry's Trek Benefit and Welcome

The Blue Island community hosts a welcome event for Momma Henry's Trek - a team of local Eisenhower High School graduates cycling from SF to Yorktown (with a detour to their hometown, Blue Island) raising funds for the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society in honor of Antonia Henry. The MHT team includes Eisenhower graduates David and Johnathon Henry, Guadalupe Fernandez, and Carlos Salgado.

Come out to Uptown Park at the corner of York and Western in Blue Island and show your support for their trek! In addition to hearing from the Momma Henry team, the event will feature food and music. A friend of David Henry has generously agreed to bring his band to perform, and proceeds from the sale of food will go toward the MHT fund for the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society of America, which has already raised $10,000.
