Alderman Joe Moreno of the First Ward will be sworn in on Friday, replacing Manny Flores. That evening, he'll welcome the community -- his ward includes much of Wicker Park, Ukrainian Village, East Humboldt Park, Bucktown, and Logan Square -- to an Open House. (The photo is a ward map.)

Some of the city's busiest bike routes, like Milwaukee Avenue and Division Street, run through this ward. Introduce yourself and tell him that you bike!
