Meet Join the Cycle! (3 ladies riding cross country)

Join the Cycle is a three-woman team cycling across the country this summer to encourage Americans to use bicycles for transportation. The trio began June 11th from Los Angeles, CA and has been pedaling towards Boston, stopping in cities to speak with youth groups, participate in local cycling events, and inspire others to "join the cycle". The team emphasizes the environmental, health, and community benefits of cycling and encourages others to pledge to bike more and drive less on the website www.jointhecycle.com. In keeping with the "green" message, the group travels without a support vehicle, carrying everything on their bikes. On august 18th, Join the Cycle asks Chicago "Where can your bike take you?"
