Please join us for an unforgettable evening with a life-long adventurer! We are incredibly pleased to have been asked to host an event with world-renowned bicycle traveler Heinz Stucke.
In November 1962, then 22-year-old Stücke left his job as a tool and die maker and rode out of his hometown on a three-speed bike, with a dream to explore the world on two wheels. He traveled for 50 years visiting 196 countries, collating 21 passports, covering 648,000km (60,000 on his trusted Brompton).
He’s currently on an epic Brompton ride from Seattle to Chicago. He also has a new book out about his travels: "Home is Elsewhere". The event will include a book signing, along with Heinz regaling the audience with tales and answering questions.
Refreshments will be served.

So unfortunate I'll be out of town. I heard (on thesprocketpodcast) about the wonderful presentation he gave at Clever Cycles in Portland.
