The tour is a part of the Spring 2009 BFA show at the School of the Art Institute of Chicago. ((maybe off the record) On some level I am thinking of the tour as a relational art project .. I'd like to go into this here but it may get a little long winded)
We will stop at each site to have a brief chat about the organization's history , what happens there , and if / how one can get involved.
At the end of the day we will end up at my house to eat lunch and discuss the various organizations while hopefully delving into a broader conversation about food / transportation issues in Chicago. Bringing food to contribute for lunch would be greatly appreciated.
