Description

Explore dedicated lakefront and duneland bike paths and scenic secondary roads June 19-20, 2009 on Le Tour de Shore. A 2-day, 96-mile charity ride from Millennium Park, Chicago to Warren Dunes, Sawyer, Michigan. Registration is $60+ and includes a route map, roadside assistance, valet service for gear, a Friday pasta dinner and sunset beach party, and a Saturday afternoon beach barbeque.

A Saturday-evening shuttle back to Chicago is an additional $22. Overnight accommodations are paid separately. Proceeds benefit Maywood Fine Arts, a nonprofit organization providing after-school, weekend, and summer programs in art, dance, drama, music, tumbling and voice to children in the Maywood-Proviso-Chicago area.
