The Lakeview Chamber of Commerce welcomes all community residents, business owners and bikers to an information session & workshop around a new Bike Friendly Business District program. The program is being launched to promote shopping local and to create a more bike-friendly Lakeview community.
A Bike Friendly Business District is a commercial zone where local business owners and community groups actively promote biking as part of their neighborhood “brand” and encourage biking though special promotions, public events and improved conditions for cycling.
Join us to learn more about the new program and share your feedback on how the program can serve neighborhood bikers, customers and employees. A cash bar will be available.

Hi there! I'm a grad student at DePaul and am finishing up my thesis on the economic impact of cyclists. Recently I posted a survey on thechainlink to get a better idea about shopping habits/preferences among bikers. I'm planning to bring some of the survey results in graph/chart form, hopefully I can share them at the info session!
