Description

Join the Kidical Mass for a slow, easy-going, fun, group ride focused on kids (all ages) and families that will tour the Palmer Square and Logan Square neighborhoods.

Gather in the center of Palmer Square Park by 10:30, for an 11am departure.

Ride Guidelines
Please wear helmets and ride safely.
Rides are typically 4 miles at a 5-6 mph pace, roughly 1 hour with stops.
Rides are suitable for children who have progressed beyond training wheels.
Younger children are welcome on trail-a-bikes, child trailers and child seats of their parent's bike.
Festive dress and decorations encouraged.
It is expected that all kids bring a parent or guardian.

Hopefully I can get my little potato sack out for the next ride.

Comment by Robert on March 11, 2011 at 8:55am: My daughter would LOVE to stop at a playground. Of course, getting her back on the bike would be the difficult part. She would be willing to play there all day and make a tent out of leaves and dead branches to "go camping" there and thus be able to stay there overnight and start playing in the morning! LOL! I love the idea though, if for no other reason than I would love to see the smile on her face as she see's a playground that we can stop and play at. I'm sure she will be asking to stop and play at every playground within sight during the entire ride. :) I say we stop somewhere at a playground. That's a great idea, Ash!

Comment by Ash L. on March 5, 2011 at 5:27pm: It looks like the weather will be sunny and hovering right around 40 (though a lot can change in a week) so perhaps we should ride down to the newish Humboldt play lot on Evergreen and California.
