Its camping time!! Please RSVP for the MAY edition of PITCHING A TENT, a camping trip to Illinois Beach State Park in Zion IL. We will, of course, be biking up there with our gear in tow, on paniers, and on our backs.

Metting place will be North Shore Channel Trail entrance at Lawrence & California.

You must RSVP for this event so we know how many campsites to get. They do not have group sites. Sites are limited to 5 adults and two tents.

If a cat shows up I didn't pack him on purpose.

Julie has been added to TC's site. Her and Larry are bunking together.

I would agree that 5-6 hours is probably a good estimate with food and rest stops. Last time we stopped for brunch, and ice cream, took plenty of rest stops and even got lost and I think it was about 6 hours. See everyone at 9!
