Its camping time!! Please RSVP for the MAY edition of PITCHING A TENT, a camping trip to Illinois Beach State Park in Zion IL. We will, of course, be biking up there with our gear in tow, on paniers, and on our backs.

Metting place will be North Shore Channel Trail entrance at Lawrence & California.

You must RSVP for this event so we know how many campsites to get. They do not have group sites. Sites are limited to 5 adults and two tents.

i believe most of the way is paved and crushed limestone. there was mention a car early on, but no one has committed to driving at this time. im someone wants to take my car (stickshift, and half eaten by a dog, but can pack a lot) they can, though self sustaining without a car would be ideal

Are the roads paved or dirt? Will there be someone driving that can take some gear?

sharing is obviously an option, just depends on who wants to share with.

Are we all bringing our own tents/ear, or will there be sharing?
