SUBJECT: Your Input Needed At Upcoming Illinois Bike Plan Meetings!
Illinois’ first ever state-wide Bicycle Transportation Plan is being developed this year, and it needs your input. Whether you are someone who:
-- Saddles up on the nicest days or through every season
-- Is fearful or fearless when riding near cars
-- Owns no bikes or five
-- Pedals with children a block to a park or a mile to school
-- Uses trails for weekend exercise or weeklong touring
-- Lives in a small town or dense city neighborhood
-- Wears skirts, suits, jeans or kits
-- Was born 8 or 80 years ago
-- Rides by choice or necessity or not at all—to work, school, errands or anywhere else . . .
YOUR voice is needed to help make Illinois the top state for cycling in the country. Please come to one of the public meetings to share ideas, concerns, stories . . .
To learn more about the Illinois Bicycle Transportation Plan and additional opportunities to share your input, visit the project website: http://www.illinoisbikeplan.com/.
