This is the second annual horrible sweater, hot drink hunt, we will start at Kristkindl market for some german fair and mulled wine and hit up some other outdoor festivals and other locations for lights, and caroling and some festive fun.

Please wear your most festive holiday sweater and be ready to spread some cheer.

There will be prizes in several different categories for the most "festive" Christmas sweaters. You can even "uglify" your own sweater.

Comment by BalloonBiker on December 8, 2010 at 10:36am: The ride is fast approaching! THe forecasts are looking to be pretty chilly, but the ride is still on!

One tip about sporting an ugly sweater in the cold: Wear your normal bike winter clothing and a jacket, then put the bulky montrosity on the outside.

DIY sweaters are also encouraged by stapling, sewing or pinning components to one's sweater.

ALso, if the temperatures are especially cold, we'll be taking direct routes to destinations to minimize exposure. I'll also be bringing some thermal heat packs.

Hit the right thrift store and you should be able to pay $1-3 for something awesome!
