The 100th attendee bought their Jamboree ticket this morning. The Trek SoHo raffle has sold out. In celebration, we've added a third Miss Kitty and an additional bottle of whisky - sorry, but you have to get a ticket to know what that's about. And Bernie Glim promises to turn it up to 12, because 11 is for north siders.

Some good press today! One added bit of info: the finished trail will travel from Alsip clear to Lemont with NO at-grade street crossings - the trail passes under the big bridges at Cicero, Ridgeland, Harlem, Southwest Hwy, etc. And your dollar gets matched by $4 in federal trail grant money. Yee-haw! http://www.theregionalnews.com/atf.php?sid=15666&current_editio...

Ticket prices rise with the sun on Saturday morning, September 26 - purchase before dawn, $40; after sunrise, $50. On the other hand, since Senator Durbin is providing $4 for every $1 raised, buying on Saturday brings the trail $50 more. So sleep in!

This just in for the Jamboree auction: watercolors of the Cal-Sag by preeminent landscape architects and one of the founders of modern urban planning, Carl Johnson.

A tiny taste of auction items collected: a tour of Chicago from the air; a week at a Florida hotel made from the wrecks of Spanish galleons; baseline aerobic threshold testing & custom training recommendations at VisionQuest; and cheese. Mmmm, velvety, smokey cheese.
