Description

It's time again! Build and launch, or just come and observe the shenanigans!

Get crafty with your watercraft!

Prepare to 2-wheel-haul your dinghy to the drink(s)!

We'll be meeting at a West Lakeview pub for some punting (the kind where you put liquids in yourself), and then parading to Clark Park for the real punting (the kind where you try to keep liquids off yourself).

Also, thanks to the Park District, the docks will be (mostly) goose-shit free this time!

Approximately what time do you think we'll leave the bar and head for the murky waters?

Human bodies do have a problem with multiple fluid leaks....

In conjunction with screws.....sealant that is being used to plug up seams and avoid leakage

Well, if it's oozing all over the place, probably  much longer than if you used sparingly ;)
Otherwise, standard wood glue is workable in about an hour, and cures in about 24.
If you just tack a few nails or screws in that shit, you'll likely be ready to launch immediately.

How long does it take wood glue to dry?

FYI:
There'll be games, trophies, and even a prize for the first inadvertant swimmer!
