Not everyone is free to ride all day on the Grumpy Grinds and Barry Roubaix's of the region. Sometimes it just takes an extra half hour on your way to work to get 'out there'. That's been my M.O. this past winter. Ice, cold, snow, rain- it's all OK when you're up on some rail-gravel. For this month's installment we'll be hitting up some terrain going into and out of the loop. Meet-up at the Illinois Centennial Monument at 9am, we'll be back before noon. Bring a bike with soft tires, and a friend with spare tubes.
