Hey Slow Rollers - Let's plan to meet up at the Hotel Florence circle drive on the SE corner of 111th & Cottage Grove. Meet up at 9:30am and PROMPTLY at 9:45am we will ride together the short distance over to Big Marsh. Please come ready to work, read the event description below for more details - work first, ride the trails & eat some BBQ second! Please represent in your Slow Roll Chicago shirts. And, we will have shirts available for purchase at 9:15am in case you still need one. Let's ride...

Event Description:
Swing a tool in the name of trails at Big Marsh this Saturday with Slow Roll Chicago and Friends of Big Marsh, and savor the sweet riding your sweat and sinew hath sown! Plus, hey, BBQ and hot dogs. Powered by SRAM+Illinois Trail Corps. #maketrailswork
Bring:
* Work gloves—breathable w grippy palms works best with tools
* Work shoes or boots - gonna get dirty
* Water
* A bike
* A friend
Directions: Big Marsh entrance is on Stony Island, between Doty and Torrence and 103rd and 122nd, east of I-94 and Lake Calumet. Google knows it as Park No. 564. From eastbound 103rd St., turn right at the light at Doty east of the expressway, and keep right; turn left (south) on Stony Island at the stop sign. About 1 mile down you'll see the gate on the left.

Peace Slow Rollers - One word: WOW!
Several words: We are deeply inspired by what we've achieved in less than 2 months. And, we are incredibly fortunate to have all of you on this journey together with us. We love and appreciate our incredible #SquadChicago team and the entire extended #SlowRollCHI family. We did this together! We will soon share a more formal, detailed season wrap up with everyone along with our plans to keep our #SlowRollCHI community connected through the winter.
