Description

Starting in Woodstock, we travel east on roads to Crystal Lake where we pick up the Fox River Bike Trail to Batavia. 44 miles to the control area but there are plenty of places to stop and look around. At Batavia, there are all kinds of places to grab something before the 64 miles stretch to Oregon. Possible stops along the way include Rochelle. This section is quite flat through farmlands but watch out for wind! In Oregon, we stop at Caseys and they head along the Rock River on a wide shoulder to Byron before turning east to complete the loop back to Woodstock.
