Description

Big Shoulders Realty is proud to work on this ride in cooperation with the Chicago Cycling Club to present a Tour of Forest Glen.

Forest Glen is community area #12 and sits 10 miles northwest of downtown Chicago. Bordering the Northern border suburbs of Niles,
Skokie and Lincolnwood, Forest Glen was a suburb itself until it was annexed by the city in 1889. The surrounding forest preserves, golf courses, parks, cemeteries, bike and hiking trails and beautiful homes of varying vintage and styles still preserves a suburban-community look and feel on the edge of the city.

Lee-

Unfortunately, I don't think the weather gods are smiling on your endeavor today as I look out my window. Perhaps you can re-schedule for a later date. I'll try to get to 1 of your rides later in the season. I've seen the posters up all over the North Side, so you promoted it very well.

I'm in. No problem on finding the typo, I guess this is my first non-winter ride...though, the forecast indicates a bit of the wintry possible tomorrow.

Hey Leslie,

It is social and relaxed. Pace is 10-15 mph and a total distance of just under 16 miles. It is a no-drop ride with a sweeper to make sure noone gets left behind. Looking forward to meeting you!

This will be my very first ride, besides just commuting around town. Is this fairly social or is there going to be a certain pace? I just want to be able to keep up :) Especially if I happen to fall over trying to get my feet in/out of the pedals.

AHAHHHHHHH FOR FUCKS SAKE! No it is Sunday March 29.

The reason the winter ones are on Saturdays is so i don't miss any Bears games. Thanks for catching that. Oy!

Lee, the BSR site says "Saturday March 29". Well? Which is it? :-)

They're usually on Saturdays, so I'm guessing you meant March 28...
