Description

This month, we'll be conducting a fix-a-flat workshop in lieu of our regular monthly ride! The fear of a flat tire may be keeping you from riding longer distances. Not all rides can center around the CTA map - ride free and confident knowing you have the ability to conduct one of the most common repairs for your bike!

We will meet at the Hoyne Bank parking lot at 4729 N Milwaukee Avenue (on the EAST side of Milwaukee) at 9:00 AM on Sunday, August 23rd.

All participants must bring: a bike, a spare tube for your bike (or two), 2 tire levers, frame pump (if you have one). This is a hands-on experience. You will be conducting a full tube replacement on your own bicycle. So, be prepared to get a little dirty.

Alice will be leading the workshop by demonstrating on her own bike, while Duane makes the rounds to assist you personally.
