On Sunday, October 30th at 2pm, The Filament Theatre Ensemble will team up with the Active Transportation Alliance to explore new ways of approaching Chicago’s environmental challenges. Framed by Filament’s production of From the Circle: Remembering the Earth through Folktales, ATA’s John Lankford will lead a post show discussion about the great invention of the bicycle and share some of Active Trans’ environmental initiatives.
All cyclists will be automatically be entered into a raffle for bike swag from various bike shops.
This event is part of Filament’s “Remembering the Earth Series,” which seeks to connect allegory with activism and further the discussion of environmentalism in Chicago.
From the Circle: Remembering the Earth through Folktales plays Fri – Sat @ 8pm and Sun @ 2pm thru November 13th at the Den Theater: 1333 N Milwaukee Ave, Chicago.
