S. Halsted is fine. It kind of sucks between Grand and Lake, but that isn't very far.

Oh, also, is South Halsted decent to bike on? I'm a total unabashed northsider and don't really want to mess around trying to navigate residentials when I could just take Halsted as a straight shot down but if it's some dangerous horrorfest, does anyone have any alternative recommendations?

I'm going to be there, hopefully somewhat on time but maybe not. I'm wearing head to toe bright green and socks with bikes on them, so, newbies, if you are all awkward and shy please feel free to look for the girl in green bike socks and buy her several drinks.

Hey guys, I may be about 30 minutes late (last min friend in town).
Can anyone get there on time and when you see people looking around uncomfortably ask if they came for bar night? I hate when new chainlinkers show up and end up sitting alone since they don't know anyone. I'll bring name tags when I arrive :))

@Adriana / Craig -I leave work (State / Monroe) around 6ish usually, and since I'd like to get some riding in before we all get drunk, I'll head north up the path and maybe we can all meet at the totem pole near Addison? Then continue south..

@Scott: Hopefully, some of the folks on tonight's Marauders that are going Thursday may discuss riding plans, that is if they're aren't too busy.
