Description

The scary thing about this ride, is that if you show up, will I?

Nearly everything about this tour is a lie. Celebrating April Fool's Day, I am doing a tour of the Northside of Chicago, where, in contrast to the architecture/neighborhood tours I do, EVERY STOP IS AN OPPORTUNITY FOR OUTRAGEOUS MISINFORMATION.

The ride will be 10 to 15 miles. It will certainly involve large amounts of fibbing, nonsense, tall-tales, April Fool's jokes, and bike riding. And a bit of drinking too.

To start things off, here are a few lies about the ride:

1 - No one will have any fun.
2 - We will start directly on time.
3 - I will be doing my normal, detailed research on every subject for the ride.
4 - I will be wearing a suit for the first time in over a decade.
5 - Howard Kaplan will be there.
6 - This ride will completely suck.

See you there.......maybe.

Cheers - Lee Diamond

Thanks for a great ride! Sorry I had to duck out early...but I have a puppy dog who can only hold it for so long.

BREAKING NEWS: Sources tell me that the tour will be conducted in 18-wheelers. Be sure to have your semi or flatbed with you at the start of the tour. Hope you know how to drive stick!

Anyone that looked at previous versions of the map was lied to. But now it is ok.

Maybe.
